About this project.
A retail platform for a cosmetics company where the website is only the visible part. Behind it sits
a complete operation:
- Full POS — including a rebuilt Fast POS front end for speed at the counter.
- Returns and refunds — handled properly, which most small POS systems never do.
- Lot and expiry inventory — essential in cosmetics, where stock has shelf life and a batch can be
recalled. Tracking by lot and expiry is what separates a real retail system from a product list.
- Replenishment rules — the system says what to reorder before the shelf is empty.
- Purchase inquiries — generated from those rules, straight into buying.
- Store pickup and a fulfillment board — online orders picked, packed and collected, tracked
visually by the staff working them.
- Attendance — staff hours tracked in the same system.
- Hiring — recruitment handled alongside the people already on the team.
- Client setup wizard — so a new deployment can be configured without a developer.
