Project overview
About this project.
The idea was to take the format that actually sells on social media and give it to merchants on their
own platform. Each store publishes stories — product photos and short posts presented the
Instagram way rather than as a grid of listings — and customers follow the stores they care about
through a feed of what is new today.
Around the format sat a real commercial model, visible in the change log: premium accounts and a
premium check-mark, a control panel for premium stores, multi-store posting, "refresh my store"
promotion, image and post quotas per plan, a news section, and red-dot notifications for stores and
news. So: free tier to fill the platform, paid tier for visibility.
It was built and iterated on through 2020, but it never launched.
