Project overview
About this project.
Same problem as WeFix, organised for an institution rather than a consumer market. eMS runs the
maintenance of a school in Oman: the campus's assets are registered and coded (MCT-ISC1-C for a
school building, MCT-VC-CAB1 for a portacabin), and anything that breaks becomes a numbered work
order with a description, an assigned technician, a completion date and a written record of the works
accomplished — "replaced 11 LED lights", "replaced 12 LED lights in the backside staircase".
Daily closed-work-order reports come straight out of the system, which is what the school's
administration actually needs: proof that the campus is being maintained, per building, per day.
The data on file is production data from the real operation — this ran, it was not a pilot.
